STEM

Connecting young people to high wage, high demand careers in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM)

As our national workforce increasingly relies on people with these skills to succeed in fields like information technology, manufacturing and healthcare, OIC’s STEM programs build up the workforce of tomorrow and the future.

OIC’s STEM programs inspire and support young people in gaining the interest, skills, and experiences they need to pursue careers in the STEM field, reaching into schools and forgotten neighborhoods to create pathways to rewarding careers.

This program offers youth work experiences, engagement with STEM professionals, and access to learning labs. With in-school, summer, and community learning opportunities, STEM participation can lead to credentials through the Sullivan Training Network—OICA’s nationally recognized career education system.
