“We’re so excited to bring STEMFest back to Philly, where OIC of America was born more than 60 years ago,” said Louis J. King II, President and CEO of the national nonprofit OIC of America. “Our founder, Leon Sullivan, dedicated his career to creating opportunities for forgotten people in forgotten places. If kids are going to pursue STEM careers in the years to come, we have to start enabling them to see themselves in those professions now. Introducing them to STEM at an early stage will open any door they can imagine.”
