Economic Empowerment Has Always Been a Part of Black History

As Black History Month marked its 100th anniversary, Louis J. King II, President and CEO of OIC of America shared the pathway to economic stability that many people don’t know exists: a career in the skilled trades, which can change a family’s trajectory in as little as eight weeks. He highlights our commitment to placing 50,000 people in skilled trades careers per year by 2030 and calls for dismantling the outdated assumption that a four-year degree is the only route to the middle class.
